Volunteer Opportunity

We are participating in
New Jersey FFA's 8,000 Hour Challenge.
Chapters who participate in the challenge (and work at least 200 hours locally) will be recognized at the 81st State FFA Convention with a bronze, silver or gold rating. In addition, chapters who wish to highlight one community service activity using PowerPoint (and following the guidelines), are eligible for the Outstanding Community Service Project Award.
We will be keeping track of our community service hours on this site.
Community service hours are defined as being part of an approved FFA chapter function. Ms. McLean must be aware of the community service project and approve them as team sanctioned function.
As you keep track of your activity, be sure to record:
  • Description of project
  • Length of project (hours worked)
  • # of FFA members engaged in project
  • # of adult volunteers engaged in project

What community service projects do you think we should engage in as a chapter? Are there any community service activities that you are doing which you want to get approved by the chapter and get other members connected to?
Do you find this valuable?
